Safety appeared to be a priority as all of the staff wore masks as well as all of the Guests. I was at the Resort and Casino for 8 nights and enjoyed the setup, including the beautiful courtyard with fire pits lit at night to the delicious food in both the River Rock restaurant and the Rapids Bistro.

Of course as a gambler, I realize no offers at a casino are exactly free however, was still very appreciative. Sean also offered some comp nights which was a pleasant and delightful surprise. He arranged for another Bell man, Mark to move my things for me, which was done not only quickly but things were set up in the room - something an old Hotel man can certainly appreciate. The next day, I did meet Sean who did let me know that he would have my room type, took my cell number and called me when the room was ready. The original room they put me in was very nice so there was no disappointment there. They were honest and straightforward about the fact that they were overbooked (10 years+ in the Hotel industry, prepared me for this) and that their Supervisor Sean would be able to resolve it the next day. I had reserved a King Deluxe room and the Front Desk explained that they didn't have that room type immediately available. Getting into the car and driving out into the Country suddenly unfroze my brain and I was pleasantly surprised at the immediately welcoming spirit of the Little River Casino Resort just outside of Manistee.
